The Chad–Cameroon corridor carries a large share of Chad's overland trade to the coast, and the case for a dedicated dry port facility along that route rests on a simple proposition: every day of customs delay and every inefficiency in transfer between road, rail and bonded storage is a direct cost to two national economies. RAIL55 was engaged, in synergy with Genesis Port Management, to translate that economic case into a physical master plan — sizing yard capacity against realistic trade flow projections, sequencing phased delivery against available capital, and resolving the governmental feasibility questions that determine whether an infrastructure programme of this scale is bankable.
Our scope spans the full arc from diplomatic and institutional groundwork through to structural engineering: government-facing feasibility documentation, environmental and social impact frameworks aligned to international development finance standards, structural design for the container yard and bonded warehouse zones, and the intermodal transfer geometry connecting road arrivals to onward rail movement. Every element is resolved inside RAIL55's Cognitive Twin environment, so that cost, schedule and throughput assumptions are modelled and defensible before a single concession agreement is signed.
